Brett was born and raised in Batesville, Indiana but has called East Tennessee home since 1993. He earned a finance degree from Franklin College and a MBA from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. He then spent 20 years in the banking and lending industry before the economy caused him to consider a career change and, in 2011, he obtained his real estate license.
Brett and his wife, Jennifer, have 3 children: Mary Kate, Caroline and Will. The Heppner family lives in one of Maryville’s prestigious historic neighborhoods in a home built in 1886 that they restored themselves. Brett loves older homes and is a self-taught carpenter, electrician and plumber. To date, he has been involved in the renovation of 2 homes that the family has owned.
In addition to real estate and home renovation, Brett is a strong advocate for our community. He is currently a Deacon at First Baptist Church Maryville and a member of their Finance and Young Life Committees. Brett is presently serving as the President of the Maryville High School Parent Teacher Student Organization.
