Tina’s interest in the real estate industry began many years ago when she owned a furniture and home decor business. For 13 years as a business owner, she gladly gave back to the community by participating in fundraisers at local hospitals where she proudly displayed furniture and home decor. Her altruism eventually lead to a new business relationship with Showhomes of America of Knoxville where she became the lead designer. The primary focus of this position was to stage houses that were being offered for sale. This was the catalyst for Tina to open her own design business, Creative Stagings and Redesign, where she has spent the last 17 years creating beautiful spaces for her clients.
Tina received her real estate license in 2013 and has been extremely successful in both listing and designing with her husband, Kent Hefner, a licensed general contractor. In early 2016, Tina completed the requirements for two designations: ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative) and GRI (Graduate, REALTOR Institute). Tina currently serves as a Director for the Knoxville Area Association of REALTORS and the Tennessee REALTORS Association. Her next goal is to obtain her Broker’s license when she eligible.
Tina was raised in Fountain City and she and Kent currently reside in Knox County. She is happily married, is the Mother of 5 children, Nonna to 3 beautiful boys, and caretaker of Ralph the Dog, Thomas the Dog and Rhino the Rabbit. In her time out of the office, she enjoys all the things a great East Tennessean can…hiking, boating and water skiing. She and Kent are also involved with local and international mission endeavors. Her favorite activity of all time though is jumping out of an airplane!!
