Brandon was born and raised in Maryville, TN. He’s a sixth generation Blount County resident and a graduate of William Blount High School. While a student at University of Tennessee, Brandon served as a volunteer Young Life leader at Heritage High School. After college, Brandon accepted a position with Young Life and moved to Memphis, TN. After 3 years in Memphis, he relocated to New Orleans to be the first Young Life Area Director to restart the area after Hurricane Katrina.
Brandon met his wife, Jennifer, in 2011 and they left Young Life staff to move to her hometown of Mobile, AL. While in Mobile he had several different careers; he served on a church staff, built ships for the Navy as a Shipfitter, was a development officer for a non-profit health clinic for uninsured adults, and a REALTOR. He left Mobile, AL in 2017 to serve as a houseparent for the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home in Nashville, TN.
He recently moved back home to Blount County with his wife Jennifer, 4 year-old daughter Mercy Rose, and their dog Shera. Brandon is active in the community serving as a 2018 United Way Champion and leading a local men’s small group that meets in the LeConte Realty office. He returned home to be close to family and to provide for his daughter the same quality childhood that he experienced when was young.
