Georgana moved from a small town in East Tennessee to attend the University of Tennessee in 1997. She received a BS degree in psychology/sociology in 2001 and a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2003. Upon completion of her education, Georgana moved to Long Island New York for three years and worked as a therapist in a Day treatment facility for mentally ill adults. She was able to complete 2000 clinical hours and become an LCSW. Upon moving back to Knoxville, she conducted group and individual therapy sessions with special education students in the Knox County school system until 2012.
In 2012, Georgana opted for a career change and took a position as an Account Executive for WVLT-TV until December of 2017. While there, she was consistently a top salesperson. Getting to know each surrounding community and meeting new potential clients is what she loved about her previous job. These things really jumpstarted her desire to become part of the real estate world as a professional. Although she is new to the REALTOR community, she has had her fair share of personal real estate experience with personal homes, residential investment properties and, most recently, has experience with commercial leasing for a local business she owns.
Georgana is married to Trey Jackson, a Maryville native and a partner with Garner & Conner, PLLC. Trey is the title attorney for Appalachian Title Agency. They have 3 children, Hughes (9), Ollie (8), and Scout (5) who attend Maryville City schools. Her passions outside of the real estate world consist of her CrossFit gym, camping, traveling, and spending time with family.
