LORI BARRETT
Real Estate Specialist
As the child of a park ranger, Lori had the unique opportunity to grow up inside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and has spent her life involved in the Park and surrounding East Tennessee area.
Lori’s professional and educational background are as varied and interesting as she is. Her educational background includes Business Management, Commercial Art and Advertising Design, and Anatomy ∧ Physiology/Physical Therapy. Professionally, Lori has held positions as a manager and corporate trainer for Sara Lee Corporation, an Events Coordinator for Friends of the Smokies, and as the Public Relations Director for the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts.
Lori is quite active in our profession and also has a real heart for giving back to her community. She currently serves on the Public Policy Committee for our area REALTOR® association, KAAR. She also serves on multiple nonprofit boards, including Secret Safe Place for Newborns; the LeConte Realty Foundation, where she is Board Chair; and recently was elected to the board of Experience Your Smokies. In addition to all of that, she is a member of the 2018 Class of Leadership Blount (i.e. the best class) and is a 2022 member of the East Tennessee Regional Leadership class.
She and her husband, Mark, have two grown children, Gray & Bryn, and she enjoys running, hiking, tennis, traveling, digging in her yard, and spending time with her friends & family. Lori is passionate about sharing her love of our beautiful area, as well as her patience, creativity, and dedication for assisting clients in achievement of their real estate goals.
